International Sailing and Power Academy Inc (ISPA) International Logbook and Registration.

The International Logbook provides the program standards and a record of personal certification for the “International Certificate of Competency". This allows sailing, power boating schools, charter boat and delivery companies, marine and government officials, to ascertain your level of ability. The program is designed for pleasure craft, sail and powerboats, up to 24 meters (approximately 72 feet).

 

Registration Procedure for International Certificate of Competency "Shore-Based Certificates".

If you wish to complete shore-based certificates only, on successful completion of the applicable home study course  Sailing, Power Boating, Navigation and appropriate Exam, you will need to Purchase a logbook and then register for the International Certificate of Competency shore based certificate. To do so complete your logbook as outlined in the Shore Based Certificate Registration form. On completion of registration, your logbook will be returned with the “International Certificate of Competency” registered seal attached for the "shore-based certificate" achieved.

Registration Procedure for International Certificate of Competency "On the water" Certificates.

If you wish to proceed to the "on the water" practical course certificate (see Sailing and Navigation course matrix or Power boat and Navigation course matrix) you may at any time continue and add the "on the water practical certificate" with a sailing school, power boating school, or Instructor.

 

On successful completion , you need to register for the International Certificate of Competency by forwarding your completed logbook as outlined in the Shore Based and On the Water Certificate Registration form.

On completion of registration, your logbook will be returned with the “International Certificate of Competency” registered seals attached, for the "on the water practical certificate".
