The mission of Westcoast Adventure College is to provide knowledgeable, confident, certified graduates who are sought after in the Adventure Tourism industry around the world. 海洋トレーニングプログラムでは、安全な商業海洋探検を計画・実行するための基礎的な知識、スキル、認定を提供します。トレーニングには、カナダ運輸省とカナダ沿岸警備隊が認定した、小型船舶操縦技能、国内船舶安全（以前の海上救急業務A1およびA2）、海上無線操縦士証明書（ROC -M）、海上救急法を含む認定証が含まれています。 航海術、海事規制、潮流、気象、安全に関する正しい知識を身につけます。
実習では、12人乗りのリジッドハルインフレータブル、観察ツアー、地元のホエールウォッチング船やBCフェリー、地元のシーカヤック会社での演習などを行います。
The DVS course provides practical training to respond to emergencies onboard vessels and includes the experience of deploying life rafts and marine firefighting. This latter course is done in the state-of-the-art marine fire training centre in Victoria.
また、ISPAクルー、デイスキッパー、コースタルスキッパーの資格を取得するため、 大型クルージングボートでガルフ諸島を4日間航海します。
